My recent experience though is that even when I did get it all running under SuSe Linux, there are bugs in the Linux version for example: I would seriously consider trying SuSe Linux 12.x as the libraries are closer to those used by ANSYS. If you are still getting errors about XGetRequest and libXext you can't have installed the right libraries. I upgraded the above packages and yet it did not resolve the issue any more ideas?
